So I guess you found this post because you are looking to be a blogger. Many bloggers, write about the adventure of being a blogger. I am sure many people are trying out the idea of becoming a blogger. It takes a great deal of courage to be a blogger. Did you know that?
Courage for your life to change for possibly the better. Once you become a blogger you find out there are blogs of every style out there. One may learn new crafts to create, new dishes to make, or change their money habits by reading other blog posts. Another way your life can become better is getting more friends to help you with your dream of having a blog. Once you become a blogger, other bloggers will help you along the way.
Courage to manage your time wisely or have good time management skills. Maybe you have a family, one may find it hard to fit in time for your family and blogging too. Many bloggers work on the blog early in the morning or after the children have gone to bed. From my own blogging life, my husband has said to me “Unplug yourself from the computer” because I spend too much time on it. So I try to not be on too much when he is home.
Courage to be able to deal with getting ridiculed my family and friends because they do not understand what blogging is. When you say to others that you are blogging online, they may give you funny looks. This may mean they don’t what that all includes. Especially the older generations, they do not blogging let alone computers. People will tell you that you will never make money from blogging.
Courage to be creative. There will be times when you have no clue what your next post will be. Some days you will have to pull ideas from your own life. There are also many writing prompts sites to visit that will give you some ideas of things to write about.
Courage to stay committed to your blog. If you are passionate about your blog, you will stay committed to working on the blog. A following to your blog does not happen overnight, or even a few months. It takes time and great content to bring traffic to your blog. It takes a great deal of time, and effort to put in to be making a great blog. Money will not come fast and easy either. It may trickle in slowly. After you get a following, then more money may follow.
